Dr. Philipp Stompfe is Of Counsel at Kisser Legal and Founder and Partner of Stompfe International Law Firm. He brings more than 15 years of experience advising investors, corporations, institutions, and public and private sector clients on complex cross-border legal and investment mandates.
At Kisser Legal, Dr. Stompfe adds senior international expertise to matters involving the UAE, the GCC, Germany, and wider international markets. His Of Counsel role enhances the firm’s ability to advise clients on matters requiring coordinated legal support across jurisdictions. His broader cross-border practice has geographical reach across the GCC, Europe, and Asia, including Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Switzerland, Poland, and India.
Dr. Stompfe’s work spans advisory, transactional, and contentious matters, with particular experience in the legal and commercial issues arising from cross-border investments, infrastructure projects, and international disputes.

He studied law at the University of Marburg, Germany, where he completed his First State Examination in Law. He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom, and received his doctorate in law from the University of Cologne, Germany, with summa cum laude distinction.
